At Melody Rights, the end goal is simple: placing your music in films, TV shows, mobile games, interactive media, advertising, and more. That’s the focus from the very first step. Here’s exactly how it works:

Step 1

Create an Account & Pick a Plan

Start by signing up for your free account and choosing a monthly plan that fits your output:

- Artist Plan – $5/month for up to 5 tracks
- Producer Plan – $10/month for up to 10 tracks
- Label Plan – $50/month for up to 50 tracks
Every plan includes full access to our distribution system – and most importantly, you keep 100% of the royalties we track and recover for you.

Step 2

Upload Your Music

Upload music

Drag and drop your WAV files right into the platform. For each track, choose exactly where you'd like your music sent.
We deliver your music to trusted gatekeepers – the stock libraries, sync agencies, and platforms that place music in Netflix shows, mobile games, ad campaigns, interactive experiences, and beyond. You're in full control of your destinations.

Step 3

We Distribute & Register

We then send your music everywhere you selected – to stock music libraries, sync agents, gaming marketplaces, and more. But we don’t stop there.
We also register your tracks with royalty collection and music tracking services, ensuring we can trace when and where your music gets used. This vital step – often skipped by other platforms – is key to making sure your earnings aren’t lost in the system.

Step 4

You Get Full Reports & Earnings

We report back to you with full usage data – how your track was used, where it appeared, when it was played, and exactly how much you’ve earned. Whether your music ends up in a viral video, a documentary series, or a console game, you'll know – and you'll get paid.

What we do is brand new, and we often get a lot of questions regarding our service.

ISRCs

We generate and provide ISRCs to each of your songs, if your music already has an ISRC; this isn't an issue. We will still generate one for you as a unique identifier within Melody Rights.

Metadata

We abstract a lot of the metadata for you, description, keywords etc....
We are developing a new system to provide you with more control and flexibility over your metadata.

Accounts

The music submitted goes into our Master accounts, where we report and track the music on your behalf.
